By using LoopTube you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable — if something is unclear, please get in touch.

The short version:LoopTube is a practice tool for musicians. Use it for practice, don't abuse it, respect copyright, and be aware that we may introduce paid tiers in future. The full terms follow below.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using LoopTube you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time; material changes will be announced on this page.

What LoopTube is

LoopTube is a browser-based music practice tool that lets you loop, slow down, speed up, and transpose audio — either from YouTube videos or from files you upload. It is designed for educational and personal practice purposes.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use LoopTube to:

Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit third-party copyrighted content.
Circumvent any technological protection measures on content.
Attempt unauthorised access to our servers or infrastructure.
Interfere with other users' access to the service.
Use automated tools to scrape or overload the service.
Violate any applicable local, national, or international law.

YouTube content

LoopTube uses the YouTube IFrame API to play YouTube videos. By using YouTube mode you also agree to YouTube's Terms of Service and acknowledge that YouTube content remains subject to its original copyright. LoopTube's looping tools are for personal practice only — not for redistribution or public performance of copyrighted material.

Uploaded audio files

Files you upload for practice are processed locally in your browser. They are not transmitted to or stored on LoopTube's servers. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any files you upload.

Saved loops and exported audio

Saved loops are stored in your browser's LocalStorage on your own device. Exported audio files (WAV/MP3) are generated locally from your uploaded content. These are for personal practice use only.

Free and paid tiers

Core features of LoopTube are free. We may introduce paid subscription tiers in future for features such as audio file upload, cloud-saved loops, and additional tools. Where charges apply, we will make this clear before you incur any cost. Existing free features will not be retroactively paywalled without notice.

Service availability

LoopTube requires an active internet connection for YouTube mode. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for interruptions due to maintenance, outages, or factors outside our control.

Intellectual property

The LoopTube application, branding, and original code are owned by LoopTube and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.

Limitation of liability

LoopTube is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LoopTube operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to these terms

We will update the "Last updated" date when terms change. Continued use of LoopTube after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
